How much?
Švýcarka sleeps a group of 12: it has 2 double rooms (one with an extra bed), 1 triple room and 1 four-bed room. There is 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and 3 toilets in the house. Electric radiators keep you warm, or you can light the wood-burning fireplace in the main living room. The minimum stay is 2 nights.

We have recommendations within a reasonable driving distance, all tried out by the owners themselves. On request we can also arrange excellent meat from an organic farm or beer from a local microbrewery.

The cottage stands at the upper end of Olešnice on the road towards Číhalka. Parking is right by the cottage on a private driveway; in winter we recommend winter tyres.
Frequently asked questions
Can we rent just part of the cottage or a single room?
No, Švýcarka is always rented as a whole. During your stay you have it all to yourselves.
How much is the deposit and when is it due?
Once the dates are confirmed we e-mail you the price and bank details. The deposit is half the price of the stay and is due within 3 working days. The balance, the local tourist tax and the refundable security deposit are paid on arrival.
Do we need to bring bed linen and towels?
No, bed linen and towels are included. Just bring basic washing-up supplies and toilet paper; firewood can be bought from us.
Can we bring a dog?
Unfortunately not – the cottage is pet-free and non-smoking. Thank you for understanding.
What about mobile signal?
The signal in the valley is weak. The cottage has Wi-Fi, so we recommend calling via WhatsApp or a similar app.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
For weekly stays check-in is on Saturday between 2 and 4 pm and check-out the following Saturday by 10 am. For shorter stays we arrange the times individually.
What is there nearby for children and sports lovers?
The ski slope is 350 m from the cottage and cross-country trails start 1.2 km away. In summer there is hiking, cycling routes, a natural swimming pool at the Juráška lodge (350 m) and a spa at Hotel Hartman. See our trip tips on the blog.
